When I bought Cloudy, he was already a fully trained Reining horse having
won futurities in Canada. I knew nothing about reining other than it looked like
a lot of fun and I wanted to try it. Cloudy is the one who taught me how to rein
and was so patient. He was always forgiving a weight shift that shouldn't be
there or a head not turned the proper direction. His disposition is the best
anyone could ask for. The best part about Cloudy is that he produces that same
disposition in his kids!
Cloudy has done pretty well on the APHA Circuit in California. He has his
ROMs in Open and Novice Amateur Reining. He has several kids that are money
earners on the NRHA Circuit and point earners on the APHA Circuit. Cloudy is now
retired and enjoying the good life here at Jett Ranch.
